This summer, three more solar parks were added to the rooftops of buildings managed by Nuve Partners.
Solar park at Telliskivi 61b
In mid-July, a 100 kW solar park was completed on the rooftop of the Telliskivi 61b business building, covering approximately 16% of the building's annual energy consumption.
New solar parks at Møller Auto locations
Following the successful launch of the Pärnu solar park at Møller Auto, we have expanded our portfolio with two additional installations:
- Møller Auto Mustamäe: With a capacity of 80 kW
- Møller Auto Jõhvi: With a capacity of 25 kW
Nuve Partners Business Manager Astrit Aasma highlighted the growing trend of solar technology in the sector:
„Solar parks on the roofs of commercial buildings are becoming more and more common practice, and it's great to see businesses like Møller Auto taking the lead in reducing their carbon footprint. In Pärnu, a third of the annual electricity consumed now comes from solar panels, in summer months even 60% is produced locally.“
Nuve Partners driving toward 80% of assets with solar panels
With the completion of these projects, 41% of Nuve Partners' assets are now equipped with solar panels. This represents a major milestone in our renewable energy goals. Currently, we operate seven solar parks, with additional projects expected to be completed soon in Estonia and Latvia.
“We set the target of 80% of properties with solar panels at a time when many doubted if solar can be economically viable source of electricity given its dependence on sunshine and the concerns about grid reliability. In Nuve, we build solar parks with the aim of consuming at least 90% of the electricity locally (2024 average has been 92%). We provide green energy to our tenants, without compromising the grid stability.”
